Welcome to Annunciation Catholic Preschool (ACP)!
A Tradition of Excellence in Early Childhood Education
Established in 1992, Annunciation Catholic Preschool (ACP) is dedicated to providing high-quality care and early childhood education in a nurturing, faith-filled environment. Serving children from six weeks old through pre-K, ACP offers a curriculum designed to foster academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth. With a team of highly trained and compassionate educators, ACP ensures that each child receives the support and encouragement needed to thrive.
Believing that children learn best through active participation, ACP provides engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Parents are welcomed as active partners in their child’s education through the T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More) parent organization, reinforcing a strong sense of community and collaboration.

Accreditation & Licensing
Annunciation Catholic Preschool (ACP) is committed to providing exceptional early childhood education rooted in faith and academic excellence. Under the leadership of Bishop John Noonan and the Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Erika Wikstrom, a renewed emphasis is being placed on meeting the spiritual and educational needs of the children and families served by early learning centers and preschools throughout the Diocese.
ACP is accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference (FCC) and the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA), ensuring the highest standards in faith-based early childhood education. NCPSA-accredited programs voluntarily undergo a rigorous process of self-study and continuous improvement. ACP first earned its NCPSA accreditation in the fall of 2016, with re-evaluations conducted every three years to uphold the highest educational standards. Additionally, ACP is licensed by the State of Florida and exceeds the requirements set by the Department of Children and Families.
A Recognized Leader in VPK Education
ACP has served as a Seminole County Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) provider since 2008. Children who complete the VPK program consistently achieve high scores on kindergarten readiness assessments, showcasing the program’s effectiveness. ACP has earned a top rating of 200—the highest possible score. Families seeking additional information are encouraged to visit the Seminole County VPK website or contact the preschool directly.
Innovative Curriculum Rooted in Faith
At ACP, students benefit from the Frog Street Curriculum, a research-based program designed to support cognitive, social-emotional, language, and physical development from infancy through pre-K. Through beautifully illustrated stories, lively discussions, and hands-on activities, this curriculum fosters confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
To enrich students’ spiritual growth, ACP incorporates "Discovering God’s Love", a faith-based curriculum that introduces young learners to the foundational teachings of Catholicism. This program nurtures each child’s relationship with God while instilling Christian values in their daily lives.
A Commitment to Catholic Values and Excellence
As a ministry of Annunciation Catholic Church, ACP is dedicated to fostering a Christ-centered learning environment where children can develop spiritually, intellectually, and emotionally. The preschool’s philosophy is rooted in:
Encouraging each child’s full potential through hands-on learning experiences
Promoting independence, confidence, and a passion for lifelong learning
Creating a nurturing, faith-based community where children feel loved and valued
The dedicated faculty at ACP consists of highly trained early childhood educators who meet all state certification requirements. Passionate about shaping young minds, the teaching team works diligently to create a safe, loving, and engaging learning environment.
