We invite our parents to partner with us to make the Center a loving environment and excellent learning experience for our children. Various ways to participate are discussed throughout the website, and we thought it helpful to list them here all together along with a few other notes.
Volunteer Opportunities
As specific needs arise, be it setting up for a class party or dressing up as the Easter Bunny, these may be posted at the Center and also on the Home Page Announcements or here if discretion required. Please know that only parents fingerprinted through the Diocese may volunteer at the school.
Encouragement
Your child’s papers and projects are kept in a file crate located in the front lobby or in his/her classroom. Please check this daily and take a few moments to discuss these projects with your child. Your encouragement and interest is very important in the learning process. If you would like to discuss your child’s progress with us, please call and make an appointment. You are welcome to observe your child in class at any time.
T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More)
We encourage you to join TEAM and participate in the fellowship and volunteering events planned throughout the year.
Birthday Programs
We also invite you to join in the “Birthday Book” program. We ask you to donate a book to the center on your child’s birthday. A special name plate will be placed in the front of the book to honor your child. You may also include a picture of your child on the inside cover. We hope this will add to the excitement of your child’s birthday. The center thanks you in advance for your donation that will help us maintain a quality library.
Family Fun Night
TEAM hosts a Family Fun Night towards the end of the school year in May. This event is filled with food, games, and dancing. We are always looking for volunteers to help plan this exciting end of year event!
